MET Assignment

The first photo is Brigadier of engineers portrait its a well done self portrait painted in 1804 by Francisco de Goya. We learned about Francisco de Goya in class and its one of the best portraits i saw at the MET. The second photo you see is a very strange painting because the way his body is shaped, his right hand that is close to his chin is bent weird and his fingers are all over the place and his left and is face on his hip and hes hunched over. The man seems to be very tall and thin and his body language is very strange it seems as hes confused. There are weird shapes to the right of him and dark colors surrounding him but hes wearing all red and a little blue. This painting was by far the weirdest i saw at the met and its called The Actor by Pablo Picasso.
