In 2012 Illinois State Univeristy students put together a simulation that demonstrated a "day in the life" of a typical low income family trying to survive month to month. Throught out the simulation the participants began to understand the struggles and obstacles of people living in poverty. More people of all different races and ethnicities are having to deal with using less money to do more things in today's society.
This project invented by college students I believe is a wake up call to Americans who haven't come to realize the hardships the country is actually facing. Yes we have to deal with terrorism, yes we have the issue of immigration, and yeah our government is struggling but the American people need help.
I think this is an excellent experiment Sam. I'd like to find out more about it and try it out.
