When I saw this project it instantly caught my eye. It is a creative way to show the poverty across Long Island. As it goes further down the Island the poverty percentage has a significant decrease. The thumb tacks are a great representation that is easy to visualize, it shows the people with a blind eye towards poverty what is happening in front of them. I love the idea of this project it was easy to see and understand. Hopefully this made people more aware to the situation and willing to help.
