While I was walking around the rotunda the project about forced marriage really interested me because I did not know much about it. It's very heartbreaking how someone could just force their child into marriage at such a young age, as young as 5 years old. It's horrible how a child so young could be forced into marriage meanwhile they probably don't even know what's going on. Women should be allowed to marry whoever they want and actually be in love with them. It's crazy how 15 million girls are forced into marriage every year. Those girls are at risk of so many different things, such as violence, poor health, social isolation, and STI's. How could someone of our age get married, I feel everyone is too busy in school and trying to get their career started and then having their whole life rearranged by having to marry someone they don't want to.
