Technologically Advanced or Obsessed?

This is a political cartoon illustrated by Gary Varvel. He depicted Obama's previous actions towards ISIS. Obama and his administration, being technologically advanced and technologically linked to the other parts of the world, took to social media to understand what ISIS was doing. As we all know, the recent beheadings of the american journalists were, in fact, found on social media. Here, we can see that we live in a world that is centered around technology, as seen from the hashtags on the pieces of paper.
