I chose to use this picture because it explains in many words what it is like to have ptsd. A word that stuck out to me was "horror" because of apocalypse now. When captain kurtz is finally killed he repeats this word multiple times. I believe this is becuase of the horrors of war and how it affects everyone involved in it. Ptsd is a consequence of war and a great example of how i can affect someone even if they are no longer fighting fot their country.Caravaggio, The Taking of Christ, 1602
