Blog post 2

   The quote above was written in Martin Luther King Jr.'s speech addressing the topic of our affairs in Vietnam. This very quote struck a controversial topic this week in class when a certain question was asked referring to a current event. 
    Does this quote apply to our view upon members of isis? To some it might but, I personally don't believe Americans should take these people with open arms and show love for them. Some might disagree but, this quote means that peace won't be reached until all love and accept each other under all aspects. I just don't think this can ever occur in modern society because these Islamic extremists have no filter or morals and believe it's completely rational too kill innocent people. Any American should agree when your own people are having their throats slit for no reason and posted to world wide media
