Ebola Worldwide (Post #4)

The main 2 topics in the world the past month has been about the scare of Ebola and the development of ISIS. Ebola was first discovered in 1976 and has been a big problem in West Africa over the past years and is now spreading to the united states. the first case of Ebola in the united states was in Texas which a 45 year old man had passed away, there has been a few other cases reported in the U.S but no other death from the disease. The disease was brought over by people from the united states visiting foreign countries were Ebola is around or doctors from the U.S that went over to help the people in west Africa and came back with the disease.Up to October 29th, 4,951 people have been reported dead from the disease in five countries; Liberia. Guinea, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, and the United States (BBC news).
the most cases from Ebola has taken place in Liberia which 2,413 deaths were reported. The symptoms of this deadly disease are Nausea and vomiting. diarrhea, red eyes, rash, chest and stomach pains, severe weight loss, high fever, and bleeding from eyes, ears, nose, and rectum (Mayo clinic). for now people are waiting to see if Ebola will continue to spread in the United States and are wondering if we will ever develop a cure.
